Cool about the creature... but just out of those 3... archers are the best... but given enough infantry, or if they got close enough.... the archers wouldnt stand a chance.

hehe... they get too close and you blow em away with air again... poor infantry
 
ooo tough question lemme see,
i would have 3 armies all somewhat with a purpose so really there is no main army but...

Defense Force: The force will be mostly comprised of archers on walls all around my towering cities of evil  :angry:  and 5 or so soldiers in town.

Offense Force: A large amount of infantry with a small unit of archers to provide cover for the troops (i feel like a tactician :laugh:) then throw in 2 units of seige weaps :cool: This includes my creature.

Guerrilla Force: Large units of archers , a small unit of seige weaponry. those of you who dont know what guerrilla is, its basicly a hit and run team used to steal supplies and stuff. My creature will also hit and run.

So yeah overall infantry will be the main type of my 3 armies but all 3 are somewhat crucial to my strategy and i see myself as a somewhat tactician but since i have the powers of a god i can make changes here and there :p
 
Thats another question I shoulda asked...After a mounth or so I am gonna modify this poll, seeing which type of unit you see yourself as being. I'd probably be an archer becuase in any fight I freak out when I am closed in on. I'd shoot masses of fire arrows and throw bombs. Yes, I'd be cheap as hell.
 
i would be the creature lol if that wasnt a option obviously archer firing arrows at ppls head muhuhahahaha
 
Sure, let the little peons stand on their battlements and behind their ramparts and fire their teeny-weeny arrows.  Use a handful of seigecraft to weaken the walls, and send in a horde of bloodlusting berserkers.  Revel in the carnage as they drink blood from their enemies hollowed skulls and consume their foes' flesh as soon as they fall!  Arrows are too cold and impersonal.  War is hideous - always remember that.  :devil

I'd have my infantry posted infront of my archers and another squad of infantry lie behind my walls with my seige. Not to mention my creature. Let all that gets in the way be destoyed and ruptured in the flames of my burning arrows sending flames down on all.
 
Defifitely archers for me! I`m gonna have vast hordes of archers and maybe a few infantry soldiers to cover them from the front. But really i don`t see the point in having an army for attack- you build a humongous city expand your influence and smash everything with rocks and fire and lightning and stuff and your enemies are toast(literally :devil)
 
But all you focused on no armies will soon see the flaw in it. They put an army ability in for a reason; I have 2 theroys on this: 1. It may invlove gaining worship power in some way depending on your ability to choose forms of worship; 2. Odds are that a creature alone will not be enough to defeat an enemy, so you will need units to swarm in and eliminate their people as your creature takes out the other creature and the heavier buildings.....Also archers would be good for helping your , again this would vary on if their are wild creatures you are able to fight.)

and guess what i did well what do u think i did i created a massive army of archers (still gonna make it bigger)
nobody can stop muhuhahahahahah i slaugtered them (not relling who)
with all my archers and my creature it stamped on them hehe (its a lion)
 
yep, archers rock, i just saw all these arrows fly in the air when i asked to attack none of the wussy infantry got to them.
 
Its official, Archers are the death of all infantry. Did you equip them with fire arrows yet? :D

Well don't forget to make em fire arrows. I got a member title for ya since you don't have on, Ramac the Crossbowman, It suits your archerness.
 
yea and i did equip them with fire arrows the whole 100 of the platoon with fire arrows against the japenes they burnt there towns and burnt there men even there creature.
but i think it mebye has to be night or get em up a level. i had 3 archer platoon 100 in each and 2 infantry platoon 50 in each and 4 siege weapons and well my creature lol  :p they didnt stand a chance
untill there creature kicked my catapult so i got mad and well blew the creature pen up hahahahaah face my wrath.
