Hello !

I just started to play Black and White 1 again, followed some of the guides downloading using the ISO version and successfully downloaded the game. I managed to start it whilst plugged into a bigger screen/monitor and it worked fine. However I'm using a MSi Vector 16 HX A14V laptop, running
Microsoft Windows Home 11,
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14650HX, 2200 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
+ a Nvidia GTX 4080.

When I try to run the game on my laptop monitor, I get insane screen-tearing. So much so that the game is unplayable. The load-screen and intro video is fine, it says 1.42 in the corner so I know the patches have worked. I tried messing with V-Sync, as well as different resolutions in the set-up section with no luck. I'd really appreciate some help with this. Thanks !

Hello!

I have the same problem.
As you can see in the picture (it's one of the better ones) - the graphics are pretty bad (they also keep changing), so unplayable.

My data:
Win 11
Laptop, Intel Core i7, enough RAM and graphics ;-)

Patch 1.1, 1.2, 1.42 installed, as described here:
https://www.bwgame.net/threads/runn...al-on-windows-10-with-smoothed-graphics.8426/

If anyone has ever had this problem - at least 2 people in this world would appreciate suggestions for solutions ;-)

I have managed to get it working by disabling my integrated graphics card. But now everything is handled by NVidia and then the whole laptop goes a bit choppy xD, I have to find a way to force NVidia for the BW game only
