Replinishing platoons

Am I doing something wrong here or am I supposed to have to manually sort through my massive city and grab males then drop them on a platoon in order to replinish the ranks? If so I only pray this is fixed in a patch as it is so very very annoying and time consuming.

What I do is to suck up a bunch of people and hold my hand over the platoon if it says soldier I drop him, and if it says breeder then i've picked up a female. so i toss her in a field to be a framer..

You do have a couple of other options. One is to take a fresh plattoon and to merge it with a deminisehed experianced platoon and they will take on the experiance of the deminished platoon.

The other is to disband the platoon and to reform it. Now the new platoon may or may not have the experiance of the old platoon.
 
The way i've always done it...

make a new platoon, after it forms disband it.  This way you have a large # of males in one spot... with multi pick up, you can pick up abou 80 before it slows down.... real easy to replenish
 
You can also get female soilders by grabbing a crapload of people and as long as the guy in your hand is male and you hold down the aciton button everyone after that will become a soilder until your platoon is completely refilled.

Thanks for that tip. That's the best way to do it. :D

Not only does it quickly replenish the platoon, but you can add more than the orignal number which were in the platoon.
