My Brother bought a new gaming laptop and has black and white on it. He updated to patch 1.1 fine but 1.2 makes black and white mess up meaning we cant use pheonix :|
 
Kinda hard to tell which game you're refering to if you post this in the Lobby.  ???

I'm assuming it the orignal so I'm moving this to that forum.

You can apply the[red] V1.20[/red] patch over top of the V1.10 patch and if anything it might improve things. I'd recomend it. :yes

For some reason LHS doesn't have the V1.20 patch listed in their download page.

If this is for BW2, The V1.1 patch is required before installting the  V1.2 patch and also recomended. But you can't use Phoenix with it. :no
 
Since I put into 1.2 the game will occasionally go completely black screened when I alt+tab or other weird happenings X3

No biggie. The floating creche doesn't bother me and alt+tabbing the noTexture one refreshes it :yes
 
I know that in the past that some people had trouble minimising the game if they had an nVidia video card.

Do you have the latest drivers for your video card?

I think the floating creche is normal. The land doesn't conform around a building when it's placed.

Win XP SP2 Home
Intel Celeron 1.6 GHz
2GB RAM
Intel 915GM 8-128MB dynamic allocated video card (Laptop XP)

Anyway XD Like I said. My problems are no big deal. The only one that annoys me is the one where the screen goes black sometimes when a silver scroll is activated (The Guri or whatever guy in the 3rd map). Alt+F4 makes it save and close at that point and I just restart it XD
The one with all the texturemaps going missing is when I alt-tabbed (Why I want the Winamp control in-game. lol. Things like that XD)
