Hi all,
I'm posting here because I am trying to find a solution to install and run B&W1 (and B&W2 for that matter) on a new 2024 M4 chip macbook pro - the computer is running macOS Sequoia version 15.6 and I have a CD copy of both games with the manuals and serial number codes, and an external CD drive because of course computers don't come with them anymore... I feel I have been getting very close to making it work, and seem to have been able to successfully install both games (sometimes when I run setup.exe or autorun.exe from the BW1 game disc, Porting Kit seems to think it is the game Croc 2 or Army Men something and goes through the installation process as if I had entered those discs...) but when I finally click to play them nothing happens - Porting Kit tells me that there is a "wine process" running somewhere but there is no other visible action of any kind. On BW1 I have seemingly been able to install the game, then when I run autorun.exe I get the little box that lets me choose to either play, uninstall or view the readme. Then when I click play nothing happens. On BW2 I have also seemingly been able to install it, and then when I get the interface/menu thing that has similar options like play, uninstall, readme and I click play, nothing happens!

Could somebody please advise me exactly what to do in what order, as I am not a very computer savvy person and find the drives/ports/destinations business quite confusing... but I do have a love for these games and want to revisit them in 2025. I have seen the few youtube videos floating around but they are generally situations where there is no disc involved - again, I have the game discs and serial numbers, and a disk drive and Porting Kit - so how do I make it work???
