I have all these villagers, just standing around, doing nothing, saying they're going to the storehouse. It's like, half of my town, mostly the men... I've tried moving them, healing them, tossing a wind miracle at them, fireballing, electrocuting, and when I got really desperate, METEORS! All to no success! I tried tossing a few to make examples, and yet again, more standing! My people are starving because they just stand there doing absolutely nothing!

have you installed the patch?  Patches fix a BUNCH of problems...

Yep, tried the patch... I even had my creature eat a few, but they decided to not flee!

Are these people Disciples if so there may be too many for the work available.
If they are  ordinary villagers then there  is not enough work of  any kind.

Some simple cures
1 Add an extra store if the store is full or often nearly full.
2 Build more.
3 More troops.
All will create extra demand that the idle villagers will try to fill.

I mean they do nothing, not even go to the storehouse with resources, even when it's empty!

Some Nocd cracks or trainers can really screw up the game.

Yep, legit game, too. I think my villagers hate me! XD

I would be tempted to start a new profile, and see what happens.
The whole game only take a weekend to complete if you  get it about right.
