im finally able to custimaze my creatures skin butt..

well i use gimp and i just changed the back of the turtle but when i used him all the back of him was black and the front of him was multiy color
 
Do a "Save As" and click on the "Options"  button and make sure the settings are 24 bit uncompressed.

The file size on the .tga file should be about 513 KB
 
If you would have chosen photoshop instead I would have been able to help you with just about any problem. If gimp is too hard for you, you may want to switch.  :yes

Give me a PM sometime if you want advise on photoshop(if you get it) or just general stuff on skin making.  :woot
 
Okay, I thought I could find 7.0 for you, but it apparently has DISAPPEARED FROM THE INTARWEBB.:shocked:angry:cmad  I will have to send you a a copy of the installation thing via MSN or AIM, if I still have it.

I will try to contact you in the next few days. I don't want people knowing my screen names, though, so I'm not posting it here, and I don't want you telling anyone either, okay?
