well for the first time in ... a while i installed the original b&w and well its all glitchy

the redarded bits keep flickering and stuff...
has anyone had this problem before and can anyone help me
 
It could be a video card problem. If you've got an ATI card try updating the drivers. If it's a nVidia  card, using older drivers seem to help.

If that's not it, could you please post your system specs.

amd athlon 2ghz processor
768 meg ram
nvidia geforce 5800fx

where would i get the older drivers from? never had do downgrade before
 
Try the newer ones first then. Older drivers should be available from www.nvidia.com as well as the newer ones
 
Glad to hear the the new drivers appear to be BW1 friendly. :)
