Game freezing

Right im happy just re-installed black and white 2 with both patches but. As soon as i click on the gold story scroll to get onto the Greek homeland it freezes any clues on what the problem might be?

Were you able to choose your creature?

Im on windows vista dont have the specs on me right now but ill get em

yes i can select my creature and get past all the bronze and silver scrolls

Vista and Windows 7 do have a few quirks.

Where or what folder is it installed in.

Do you have any problems with a player made map from the Downloads?

i dunno what you meant why what folders it's in and no player maps will work aswell

Anyone have any clues? ive uninstalled and reinstalled more than a few times but it still freezes at the same part and everything all the files im saving into the lionhead folder that is made.

edit. ive found the botg expansion do you think this could clear up the issues im having?

BotG is an expansion pack and should have no bearing on the game.

When you uninstalled/reinstalled, did you delete the folders, empty the recycle bin and do a defrag?

There was a thread earlier which made a mention of the fact that for Vista and Win7 there's a specific directory to which games should be installed. But I can't find that thread.

I did all but the defrag, doing that now though
