My black and white 2 and botg will not show my creatures fur no matter what i do, i have the fur option so i turn it on and set graphics to custom but it will not show the fur!, i have tried the idea of changing the first few Numbers in the data/graphics file but it has made no difference, any suggestions please on what to do?


what is worse is that i have a lion!!!!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
 
Go to your graphics.cfg file (in the data folder)
find your card ............IMPORTANT make a note of the current settings.
Now change to 3 0 3 this is the max setting so expect it to fall down.
This may work  for you go back to 800x600 try it.
 
Thx my creature is nice and warm now thx 2 u, my black and white 2 is running slow, i know its probably my graphics card but if there is a way to speed it up, it would be helpful :woot :woot :woot :woot :woot :woot :yourock:
 
well in my case i have shared memory so what i would have to do is install a second video card but i don't know ur situation
 
my situation is that i have an nvidea 5200 graphics card and my game has a lot of lag, ive trid 202 which is an improvment but i was wondering if i could speed it up with still good graphics, i would have to buy another graphics card. :rolleyes
 
i have the same problem my creature just wont show fur its like cmon and for some reason i cant find bw2 data file :( :(
 
:sorry for the dp but i found this in my data folder is this it ??? it says graphics.config it goes to open with either internet or file is this the proper one???
 
You need to open that with Notepad. :yes

Right click and choose "Open With" or if you double click on it, select Notepad from the list.
 
i had the same plroblem but im gona fix it as soon as im done! thanks sooo much i hate weird lions! imagine a bald lion? and the good conscience has a tiny beard!!!!!!!!!  :angel  he's bald!!!!!
 
Yes! Thanks a bunch now my Wolf can feel nice and fuzzy inside btw I have a question:

Is there rain in BW2 and if there is can a creature get wet with the details of wet fur?
 
Yes there is rain. although it's hard to see at times. The only time i've seen my creature really look wet was when he did the water miracle on himself.

A little bump, but how do you set the fur setting on. And will the patches fix this. (don't know as I have no internet on the comp that can play it)

One of the patches should enable it but if your graphics card can't handle fur then it will be greyed out.

Right click on an empty spot on your desktop and choose properties. Click on the "Settings" tab and your Card will be listed in the  "Display" box.
