Hi,

- i installed the game via the abbandonware download
-

i used that tutorial to install it.
- i installed all patches.

i can start the game, but i get massive glitches and artifacts on screen. so its unplayable even though it starts porperly.

can someone help?

I'm having the same problem. I have no idea what to do

Edit: Solved it! (I was having much the same issue).

I changed my laptop's resolution to 1024 x 768, then did the same in the start up app. Fixed all the problems you mentioned.
