question about tiger unlocker

for u guys who had per-ordered the game, and u sent ur code to that e-mail address, how long did it take for you to actually get the unlocker?
cuz i've been waitin a long time
 
i got it when kays put it up for download. Any way i sent them an email and they still havet given it to me.and its been at least 3 weeks
 
I do not understand why they had to send it to people. They should have just put it on disk to be given with the game like many others do for bonus material.
 
The tiger was meant to be an incentive for people to pre-order. EA would have had to make two versions of the game discs for those that pre-ordered, and those that didn't. From their perspective it was probably easier to just make a file available to those that pre-ordered. Unfortunately, the system to get this file was not (and probably still is not) ready.

Either way, they didn't go through much trouble to limit the tiger use to the pre-orders. The initial code given is only to obtain the file, and no further security is in place. At this point, they should just make it available to anyone. I think most who pre-ordered were going to get the game regardless.

Sent the email to EA on 10/7/2005, received the Tiger Unlocker email from EA on 10/17/2005 - so 10 days...
(Downloaded the Tiger unlocker here on 10/7 or 10/8...)
 
Trying not to sound angry, there should be a new rule, check the time the last reply was posted, unless you have something completely new or different. Crazy Drake and any other newcomers please know that topics that are in the fifth page are not to be posted in unless you have some news to share about the topic.
