What is the point of building them?

If you cast a miracle on them, it will turn it into a miracle bubble which you can take to the next land to help you along at the start.

I decided to try it out.  I loaded a game from Land 3 and tried it on the wood miracle dispenser.

It seems if you cast a fireball at it, the dispenser creates a fireball miracle bubble.

But if you drop a rock on it, it gets destroyed.  

I then loaded Kilroy's training grounds and tried it there.  It also resulted in a fireball miracle bubble being created.

But if you megablast the miracle dispensers, they also get destroyed.
