Nice to see what Peter Molyneux has to say.
I liked both games, to tell the truth. Black and White 2 was rather detailed and made teaching your creature easier, but Black and White 1 had more character. It had trail and error, and challenged you a little more. Also, back when it first came out...
Yeah, Black and White 1 started everything blah blah blah, but the first one of those games I've ever played was Creature Island.
Y'see, I installed Black and White 1 and it didn't work. I installed Creature Isle and it did work because B&W1 was on the computer. I played, got stuck with a dumb...
When your bowling with Madino the Cow just drop a nearby rock in front of him so his bowling ball hits the rock and therefore "misses". But if you leave the rock on the bowling floor for too long it fades away.
Here's a guide to help you out.
For good gods:
Desire Action
"We need more sleep." - Set the time of day to bedtime (Zzz symbol)
"We need free time." - Set the time of day to free time. (Happy face, Sad face & music not symbol)
"We...
Here's a funny one. In Creature Isle I trained my creature, Bob the neutral Ape, for a bit and he had the tyke with him so I decided he could teach tyke the ropes and I decide to leave for a while.
For four hours.
Four hours later I checked in on them.
Bob the pure evil ape and tyke were...
Shame. That was a great site for everything Spore...I mean Black and White.
But there's really nothing to report about. It would've died a long time ago if it weren't for the fact that Lionhead told us about B&W2 about four years ahead. And I'm betting Black and White 3, if it ever gets made...
Well, I got my creature, Bob the good Ape, to learn how to water trees, accidentially, on Creature Island. Problem was he never did anything else.
He would pick up a tree, bring it to where I watered a tree, set it down, then water it. I wanted him to stop but he didn't. So I slapped him. A...
I didn't think it would work when I first tried it.
Y'know, if you find one of those parts of the mountains where steam is coming out and you put the Norse man on one of them, he goes FLYING!.
Preferably, use the steam coming out of the mountain above the Norse village. He goes sailing across...
Is there a feature in the game that allows the player to change the creature's alignment? It's shown in this video at Gamespot.com;
Look for "Black & White Gameplay Movie 5"

And while I'm asking stupid questions, whatever...
Isn't it "wolves" and not "wolfs"?
I haven't played with wolves, but I've played against them. I'm not sure if this actually counts, or if the Norse wolf was supposed to lose, but every time my lion fought against him, Lion-o kicked his butt.
And then one day he never stood back up...
I generally try to be good, but there's always something like "There's not enough wood" that keeps dragging me down to the evil side. Then there's the satisfaction I get when I pick up about 20 people at once and throw them in all directions.
And then there's my creature, who's constantly...
So far the only animal I've played as is the Lion, ans he's pretty good.
Wasn't there supposed to be a minotaur and a jaguar in the game or did I just dream that?
When I heard the news of the turtle coming back I was overjoyed! I love the turtle creature. Reminds me of an old japanese monster movie I saw called "Gamera". Look it up.
"Our ancient legends did mention fire-eating turtles."
EDIT: Hey wait a minute. "The trutle is back"?
I have three stories. Two of them about..."dropping loads".
The first one is when I first got my lion and was in land three. He thought, "I'm going to drop a load on that villager's head." He did it. I punished him and, before I could stop him, he ate one of the droppings. Self punishment, I...
