For one the game is very old indeed and one is either no longer available or doesn't exist. Secondly, it's very cheap! I'm sure buying it would prove to be a more satisfying game experience.
That's really weird, I've never heard of that happening! Must have been quite odd. Sadly I don't know how to make my own buildings, but if I did I'd be churning out race mods every week! Sadly we can only re-skin existing building models. And the custom script static is simply a record of...
That's odd! I've never heard of that happening. Are you sure the leash doesn't work? What can happen is if a creature stays in an enemy town and destroys lots of buildings he can get very evil very quickly. I'm just curious about the leash!
Ah i get this, the compiler looks like it crashes but it does actually compile the script. If you look in the .chl file destination you'll see a recently compiled file. If it still doesn't compile properly, you need to go to C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios\Black & White 2\Data\Text and copy...
Hi there. You could always use the command say "bla bla bla", that worked in one of my scripts. Does the compiler flash up and then close, or does it produce an error message?
There are two problems with doing this unfortunately!
1) The game simply can't handle, on any system, a certain amount of troops. Generally on maps i've tested and made, 1,000 troops in the same area can crash the game. The risk increases as the amount of troops increase. It's a risky business...
Hey AppleApe, your problem relates to the Storholm.chl file, which contains the scripts for the map. If these don't run, the game doesn't know it has to disable the loading screen. In short, i don't think you've installed the Storholm.chl file properly. I do it all the time, it's really annoying...
The tiger unlocker, which adds a tiger to the game rather than replacing another creature, only works on 32 bit systems; you don't see so many of those nowadays. This isn't to do with the mod itself, but the nature of the script which adds the tiger. Then there's the mod which was linked to...
Okies, the album's password is tibet. I wish there wasn't one, but that's what it is :) Firstly Sylcai, are you running it on maximum graphics settings? If not, textures can render a bit grainy. Bear in mind i made all the base textures (which i used in the BW2 texture files) myself, and i'm a...
Hey Sylcai, I've fixed the map now. The toolbar opens correctly, and i've put clearer instructions in the readme. Essentially you need to make a number of buildings and disciples. And as for the greek buildings, did you use the Aztec mod provided? It should make the greek buildings used by the...
I'm glad you two like it :) AppleApe, you were the main reason i went off the Byzantine Mod and made this, so thank you. I think it paid off. After i fix a map I released a while back, i'll get working on a Tibetan map. Feel free to look at all the pictures of the mod in my gallery...

|| TIBETAN MOD ||
This mod replaces the Greek race with the Tibetans; a vibrant and peaceable
culture familiar to many from the original Black & White. With their vivid and
impressive architecture, as well as their remarkable stubbornness in the face of
opposition, the Tibetans are...
Ah, seems there are a few problems :\ The testing was fine though. Did you mean there are Greek buildings in amongst Aztec ones? I may also have used a command which disables the toolbar instead of setting it to closed. You should, given that it works, be able to expand your tribe yourself...
Sorry Sylcai, i'll update the readme. Basically the statue (if you can't find it, it's on a small island) will give you greater powers and buildings if you have a certain number of buildings constructed and disciples made. This was used as a general indication of the advancement of your tribe...
Thanks Gallop :) I've thought of that race, and I found that the only viable buildings to use for a Native American mod would be the Aztec inn and hovel. Unfortunately that's not enough to make a full mod; I wish i could though! Instead, i'm working on a little prototype for a Byzantine mod, but...
My guess is that Windows 7 simply doesn't want to co-operate with the game. It's understandable, given it's age, and Vista users also experience some sizable problems. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode, or with administrator privileges? I can't say i've experienced any problems...
The most viable race would be Tibetan, like a resurrection of the old BW1 race. This would also constitute a new and interesting landscape style, with the buildings based mostly on Japanese models. Other options could be Persian (based mostly on Greek models) or Byzantine (which would require...
