I remember the first time I read a ReadMe file for installing a B&W 2 mod,
all the "where to go" directories are correct, it's just they miss one key step: Package Contents.
Go to your main B&W 2 folder, and right click on "B&W 2 Loader", choose "Show Package Contents" and, err, well I forget...
I had an idea...
It's sort of a cheat:
Since you get one of the plinths lowered per every village you take, I wonder what would happen if the villages were yours to start with!
Or, at least, you had the first two and the second had very little belief left towards Lethys.
Forgot to do this. :rolleyes
The code :blues: :
VERSION(2.300000)
SET_LAND_NUMBER(0)
LOAD_LANDSCAPE(".\DATA\LANDSCAPE\Hill.lnd")
START_GAME_MESSAGE("AppleApe's: ~Poisoned~", 0)
ADD_GAME_MESSAGE_LINE("Welocome, Ha ha ha ha ha ahhhh……", 0)
START_CAMERA_POS("0.00,0.00")...
I haven't actually played B&W multiplayer, but it sounds to me like, in most cases the evil strategy would be best.
Except for people, which could be a huge, game losing/game boring problem, because, (I am quoting the strategy guide on one of the few sensible things it said) people = power.
So...
The middle mouse does the same thing as the main action button for some reason.
I was able to bind it to the "Num 1" (the one key, on the number pad), so it works now, thanks. :)
I would reply at the video, but it is having total disregard for my password and email address! :angry
Anyway, I am using the built-in movie taking software, so the quality can't get too much better.
As for the music, I will try to find a better version.
And, add better footage.
Ever since I started B&W 2, I've had a problem with it: I can't do the thing where the hand's index finger hits the ground and allows you to change the view.
What is it you hit on the mouse that makes that possible?
Two things that could use improving:
Grainery (?), when I place the grainery down and build, it does not turn. :suspect
Walls, I think it could look better if the fortified walls looked different than the basic walls. :upside
The video options are:
Maximum Detail
Millions of Colors
1920 x 1200
and the check box "High-Res Textures" is checked.
My guess is when they ported it to Mac they left a few things out, like this.
Thanks for your reply. :D
I noticed that when I watch B&W 1 videos I see that when the player casts any three of the destructive miracles everything around it glows (and, also, the lighting miracle has sound)!
Perhaps the Mac version has none of theses features? Is there an option to turn these options on or off? ??? ...
The file that I thought edited it/or was related turned out to just control whether Lethys was there or not at the beginning.
I might try at it again.
I wonder if anyone else might know of a file that controls this?
As a lot of good creations come in the form of a mistake, this was actually not that different.
I was trying to make yellow and purple fire balls, but since I used such a bright yellow in the middle of it, it turned out like this.
AppleApe submitted a new resource:
Fire Ball Variant - I assume no responsibility if this kills or damages your PC/Mac.....
