It might be stupid but have you tried to create a new profile I haven't tried a village mod for ages, but I think that creating a new profile will also refresh the models and textures. Or you could ask a friend for the original Cow files or the creature files you switched with the Turtle and...

But there are two different versions of Kong the one on Kayssplace may crush your game but the other one doesn´t I used it quite a while but I removed it from my computer.
