UPDATE: I just found a way, it's tricky but doesn't need any hacking or program else than the game itself, I am updating my original post to tell how I did so people asking themselves how to make a cow want to sleep at night as well won't need to scroll down this thread to get the answer :)

The only one that can scold Tyke is your creature. Maybe try to bring your creature to Tyke (if your creature knows that doing lightning on the temple is a bad thing) when he's lightning it up would do the trick, you could also try with the aggressive leash but I doubt it would do anything...

Maybe the in-game graphic detail level is too low by default, you should be able to raise it up in the graphic options of the game if it is the case. If it isn't, your graphic card may be too weak, I can be wrong on that though.
