    Finally playingh bw2

BW2 doesn't have a Bear. But there is a Turtle.  If you look around in the downloads section, you can probably find what you're looking for. There's a lot of interesting mods and maps.

    Norse Fortress

People do care.  It's just lot of players are not playing BW2 right now and it may take a while before you get some feedback. But someone will post something.  Give it some time, and I'm sure you'll get a response.

~ Minas's little Map Tutorial ~ (with Photoshop)

Practice makes perfect.  Try your ideas out, draw them up, and learn from each attempt you make!

    Model Request.

There aren't many BW1 modelers still active, but perhaps when one of them logs in they'll see what they can do.  Have you tried your hand at skinning or modelling the Creatures?  It's a very interesting experience.

    Tibetan Mod

    Excellent mod!  It looks wonderful!

    Ideas for a new race

Perhaps my memory fails me, but didn't BW1 have a Native American tribe with wigwams and tipis?  I don't remember if BW2 had that tribe or if it's feasible as a modded tribe.... That's all I can really think of for now.

B&W2 Features on Black and White and CI

I don't think anyone has tried to put BW2 features into BW1.  However there was a project called Of Gods and Mortals (OGaM) that was putting BW1 features into BW2.  But due to technical issues, lack of interest, and other problems, it was cancelled. There is a working beta available for...

    Extracting the models #2

That would be terrific if you could fix the Wolf's face!  Oh, what program are you using? It reminds me of ZBrush...

    Old time player, several questions!

I've never seen any smileys in the Creature Cave. They were probably deleted. I don't think artifacts work on Land 1, but be sure to bring those 3 offkey singing stones to the next land; you'll need them. As for a less teddy bear looking tiger, look in the Downloads section for skins by "the...

upcomming Aztec extension mod skinning contest

No problem. Best way to stay awake is some rock&roll music and to keep the coffee flowing.  :laugh2

    Fire Zebra (evil)

I didn't edit the eyes, just the skin. It's probably a glitch.

upcomming Aztec extension mod skinning contest

If you have some designs or drawings I could work from, I might be able to do some retex work. It depends on my schedule.  However, I don't have BW2 installed (wait, is this Battle of the Gods? I don't have that one.) on my laptop right now... You'd need to send me the textures you want worked...

    CI and Windows 7

Hmm, that should have worked.  I'm not sure how to go from here.  Maybe one of the other members has an idea... Guys? Any thoughts?

    CI and Windows 7

Where are you installing the game?  64-bit Windows has 2 Program Files locations.  They aren't the same.

IF you was to make black and white 3?

Those are some great ideas, Hotec!  I really like your creature training system; being able to see how you just changed your creature's mind when you slap or pet him takes a good deal of guesswork out of the training. Towns really were to easy to take over with armies... If there will be a...

    Exstended norse mod

I've used Firefox 3._ without any problems.  Wait a day or two.  Your file should appear in the downloads section by then.

    Decade Article

Lol, your article on The Sims is great.  I definitely got some laughs. What made BW so great?  All the little stuff, of course!  I loved the freedom to interact with just about anything and to do whatever I wanted with my little peoples.  I could raze the village using anything from my...

    Lug files help!

Here ya go:  http://elberethzone.net/en/dup-download/plugins.html I don't quite remember, but I think you also need the .stuff "Unstuffer" found in the downloads section.  Not sure, though.  Maybe Pat or one of the other regulars around here knows... If you want to play the LUG files, VLC...

    Lug files help!

Dragon UnPacker has a codex pack that I use to open just about anything, from LUG, to FORGE, to BSA, and everything in between.  Definitely get the codex pack if you haven't already. When you find the file you want, right-click and select "Extract File to..." and then "Without Conversion". ...
