What is THE funniest thing(s) your creature does

:laugh2  :woot Oh, man. That is the best story in a while. I've had my creature do a dance-off with Nemesis's creature before when Nemesis's creature challenged him to a fight, but that's because my creature was at that time both angelic and nonviolent (she is now very violent and picks fights...

    A Foray Into Evil Territory.

"And on the Twenty-Seventh of February in 1987, Johan Frederickson of Frankfurt stapled 6087--Yes, 6087--Identical paper forms." Ah, work records. Dogs are intelligent and people are disobedient? Bad metaphor. It's like comparing intelligence and obedience in cats and dogs. Cats are decidedly...

    About Artifacts

:laugh2 I tried to get them to dance around some bleeding poo. I took my creature's poo, and dropped three pieces by the town center, then dropped four rocks (a statue, a black rock, a "meteor" and a crying stone) by the town center, then some more poo for good measure to make sure it was...

    The future room

Nein. I never could get into those files. However, that doesn't mean I don't have a long-term plan. Okapidragon always is having a plan. I'm going to first become famous. I mean, HUGELY famous for something technological. Then I am going to say, "I am going to kill myself or kidnap...

    A Foray Into Evil Territory.

Ah, yes, the spite reaction. The best thing forr it is to distract him with the leash then reward him for what you make him do. I find intelligent creatures more volatile and less habitual, and when they get one idea they tend to stick with it at leas until they get another, while the dumber...

Update on the poo issue. It is NOT possible to make a poo artifact. I checked.

    A Foray Into Evil Territory.

My Leopard knows only basic Fireball and Lightening. It flames its poo if it is far from buildings (though I have difficulty getting it to poo away from the buildings more than a quarter of the time), thereby cleaning, and otherwise it's just for creature battles. Knows all the peaceful...

    A Foray Into Evil Territory.

I think the creature has to do things on its own to get the full evil impact. Also, I am an evil god with good creature.  :)  My leopard is 200-years-old.

    About Artifacts

My parents never said that... My daddy always used to say, "Son, the best thing in life is to crush the enemy, see their children driven before you, to hear the lamentations of their women." And momma used to tell me, "Son, if yer gonna get anywhere in life, ya gotta crush the enemy with...

    About Artifacts

On PBW, there was a short story about people dancing around a giant creature poo. I don't remember much about it, but I remember one villager said, "'Tis a gift from our god!" to which the other consistently replied, "No, 'tis poo!" If my recollection is firm, the dancing one danced himself to...

Creature Minds and Where to Find Them

The mind is useful for the skirmish maps.

    About Artifacts

Ah, I see. But if any extremely large piece of glowing red crap fell out of the sky, I'd know something is up. :p Though I would not touch it.

    About Artifacts

I bet I could do this. But I am still eternally putting off booting up my old computer. My current excuse is that I have Daggerfall on my Netbook, so why bother with games I've already beaten a googolplex of times? I agree, Pat, that it is often difficult these days to tell the difference...

    About Artifacts

Creature poo is neat. But you can't poison food sources with it.  :(  In Skirmish I like using Nemesis's "meteorite" curse stones as artifacts. You know, the gilded glass boxes? Grem, how do you get other gods to make artifacts? And use them as your own? I have never heard of such a thing, and...

Creature Minds and Where to Find Them

The creatureminds folder contains those to be used in map scripts, and the profile folder contains your creatures' minds, which can be moved and renamed (for identification) to the creatureminds folder to use them or you can use creature trainers on them in the Profiles folder, though you can...

    About Artifacts

No, no, I mean they WON'T work. Nothing that turns into resources works either, like grain shoots and giant fish. The mobile Singing Stones are the best for artifacts, aside from the Crying Stones, which are easier to throw far and accurately, being lighter, and are just as indestructible.

    About Artifacts

Miracle Seeds People Cattle and other animals Trees Buildings of any kind Food Wood Anything that is stuck on the ground (you can't pick it up), like the singing stones in Land 2. That's all I can think of.

    Snow Eve Set

Yeah, the skin is fine. Both models stretch that way. It is the model that causes it, but the original creator is not here... Anyway, it hasn't bothered me much and I've used the original skin for a long time and this one for a while.

Is it possible to change how the miracles work?

By all means, it should be possible to increase the apportioned value to drain from and lower the value consumed every term (I'm not sure the rate at which that energy would be consumed, but I mean to decrease that), but that would merely make it last a long time, not forever, and I would not be...

    Questions about catching

Pat, I used the series of small bubbles once to defend when Lethys started attacking my village with that weird glitch, I managed to survive. :D But mostly I realized that I could use a single small one as a bumper to bounce rocks across the land, as the bounce adds trajectory and speed to the...
