lol at "some stuff."
It looks very large... What method did you use to make it? I may just be misjudging the scale, but lndromat-made maps usually turn out smallish...
Now, THAT is facepalm. Always back up your files before doing ANYTHING that modifies majour files.
If no other option presents itself, back up your Profiles, Creaturemesh, Landscapes and Playgrounds folders and reinstall the game. Then restore those folders.
First of all, wasn't too fond of Lost. Watched maybe five minutes on accident one time.
Second, I've already got the landscape and smoke monster, I'm just procrastinating on actually doing anything (actually, I'm "sleeping" 12 hours a day because I can't sleep well in my house (long story)...
Keep dreaming a while. It builds character. :rolleyes
Really, though, I've mostly forgotten about this. Perhaps I will get back to it some day when I have better Internet access.
ya rly.
I mean, it could potentially happen if you knew what to edit and how to edit it. But it is not, and let me stress the importance of this, common knowledge. So not likely we'll figure it out any time soon, or even ever. Which is not to say you shouldn't try to figure it out. Always try...
Well, it could be latent. Or a hardware issue. My laptop has to run underclocked because its as-yet-undeveloped Atom processor causes it to freeze normally. Still better than my old computer, and cheaper. :laugh2
You don't always see the effects of malware on the day you pick it up, and it is...
I think that the Khazar thing is actually a script, probably involved with the CHL file. So I don't think it is possible to actually make a map containing an ally.
Talking girl scouts into selling them to me for half the price and selling them for a huge markup to starving third-world countries that happen to own valuable resources I can then sell to Amerika for a massive profit? Da.
Er, no. It makes me an Independent Capitalist. If I were a Commie, I'd say that either we could sustain an even balance of wallet-weight or we could all give me your non-essential money so it doesn't weight me now. As a Capitalist, I demand, since I have something you want, that you pay out the...
Oh, GallopRider, you Communist. The deal is, we put overpriced stuff on Amazon, and you buy it, thus lining our pockets with much-needed cash while making your wallet/bank account conveniently lighter. :laugh2
I'm mostly nocturnal, but they've never commented on it... Then, the time I usually spend playing B&W is between noon and six in the evening. Otherwise it's just to test-run maps.
(I usually go to bed between four and six in the morning and get up between ten and noon.)
O rly? I've actually noticed that, but it is nothing to do with weather; The phase of the moon is based on system clock. So change the date to, say, the next full moon, and the moon in game will be full. (And evil conscience will say, "Full moon tonight. Wish it was blood-red, though." Not sure...
Like I said, I'll be all over it if there are still users when or if I ever get BW and Internet on one computer consistently. Currently, my family is working off of one wired modem, so I get maybe four hours tops on the Internet throughout most days, and I can only use my Netbook which has no CD...
Yeah, the creature mind seems to silently save every thirty seconds or so. I've lost the last bit of knowledge on some miracle from the game crashing, but never more than thirty seconds, it seems, so it must save pretty often if not every second. And since it does so silently, the save system...
I think I had it running on XP a long while back. So it should work if the software does.
Then again, I've never cared much for intentionally making a game sync with real life; My philosophy is, if it is raining outside and you want to experience rain, go outside. So I only ever used this...
I'm not sure if it still works, but if you have Internet access while playing the game, yes, there is a plug-in that allows this. Or was. Like I said, it might be outdated or rely on a server/function that no longer exists or is not usable for that purpose.
Yes, but I make my own maps on my own lands. Works well for me, I just need to start polishing up the maps and releasing them. In the past I have enthusiastically uploaded lands with test maps but no in-depth map, but that should change soon. Precisely, in a week, after I've gotten back home and...
