You do not need any of the tools just to make scripts, but they will make your life much, much easier. And you DO need to at least know what all the lines do. To submit a file, go to the downloads section and click the link at the top, "Submit a File."

Decorating the site also makes you accrue prayer energy more quickly.  :p I haven't looked into the cap much, I will when I get home. As for people hiding at the worship site, I believe it is to do with population, but it isn't a direct relation... About 30%, it seems, will worship at once...

One way to do an enemy, by the way, while retaining the ability to continue building, is to make two enemies and make one have very little influence and no towns or spells, and a temple and creature in a spot they can't move from (like an island), so that you can end the game at your leisure...
