Oh I like the sound of this mod. Very useful when playing around with the layout of your city.
Does this work OK with skyscrapers also (as they're technically multiple buildings)?
I believe something_or.other is right.
It's been years since I played the game myself. But I just had a notion in my head that some Evil players used to have problems of this variety by destroying temples at unexpected times :p . Whether or not they destroyed villages beforehand, I'm not so sure.
Just had a read through everything you tried and you really must've spent some time at this :shocked !
However, I must say I like your solution given you don't have to hack the game at all :) .
As a side note - if you wanted the opposing creatures to keep their original mind files but still change alignment, you could probably change them using Caches cheats (with a little bit of messing around and assuming you can get the cheat program to work nowadays :( ).
No worries. We've all been there where lost one of our creatures for one reason or another.
Personally, whenever that happened me, I couldn't bring myself to pick a creature of the same type (too many memories).
Best of luck in playing/training your new creature.
If memory serves, your creatures mind file was stored outside your profile folder and so may have been lost when you did a re-install.
The link below gives information on everything you need to do to properly back up the game before a re-install and on how to install a creature mind file into a...
I remember having this problem myself.
Unfortunately I never found a proper solution :( . The only thing I found that reliably worked was just after you selected a creature on Land 1.
You need to select the Ape (as opposed to the Cow or Tiger). The very first thing he'll do is go to sleep in...
Hmm. Not sure what's going on here. I tested one or two other downloads in the same section as this and they work fine.
I'll see if I can get someone more knowledgeable on the subject to take a look.
Looking good.
Just a tiny thing that's nagging me. I can't quite remember how they worked originally, but I'm curious to know if you need to do anything special regarding the building of Skyscrapers or is it that you can just drag them upward to the level you want them to go to?
