i discovered this when i mistook the tiger in the japanese land for my own. :D i slapped him for destroying my buildings, and then realised he was only doing his job.
ive tried to use this to kill an enemy creature, but it only seems to bruise them. its much easier to drop a huge rock on his head.
wow, heated debate. :D
im surprised that the creature isnt bigger like in BW1. but they scaled everything down in BW2. can you imagine a creature half the size of the island? no, i believe.
if in BW3 we had the computing capacity to scale everything up by, say 3 (that includes army sizes, city...
yeah, id attempt it. it seems pretty simple - i mean, not to be racist, but all i you have to do is paint the skin of a few Aztecs brown and give them spears and Aztec shields (re-skinned, obviously.)
but it would be difficult with buildings. as skelape said, all they had were tents and huts...
WOW :shocked ...
if you look in the lobby i explained why i was away for so long..... but looking at some of the posts has, literally, put a smile on my face. thanks, ill be using these mods.(again)
recently my computer was invaded by an annoying virus (who makes those things?). i had to reinstall everything, including BW2...
the next day i decided, "i cant be bothered to start BW2 from the beginning, so ill change the map.txt file to start on the first japanese land."
it worked. i started...

what you CAN do is pretend that the norse (or whoever) are in fact greek by changing all thier models to greek or an...
hi malrang, and welcome to kayssplace.
yeah, it seems that the first question people seem to ask on this site is how to edit BWM files. were constantly persuading lionhead to give us those magical BWM editors. but i cant see it happening in the future.
quite simply: can you use the BW2 mapping tool to add waterfalls to the map? i am referring to waterfalls like the one in the very first tutorial level in BW2.
thanks :)
daxter, who seems to run OGaM, came back for a while and left this message on the main OGaM board. note the date. :(
yes, i know that OGaM is difficult, but people shouldnt make promises like that. :(
i agree. all BW2 needs is a GOOD expansion, unlike the BOTG pack which only adds a few tiny, weak concepts. what it needs is -
new unit types
LOTS of new buildings
im not too worried about the creature, but a new creature engine.
a random map generator with NO minigames and no tribute and no...
