A while ago i heard skelape talking about making the BWM skin files use multiple textures by editing them straight from the file, for example i duplicate s_greekmalea.bwm and get the duplicate to use t_greekmaleb.dds instead of t_greekmalea.dds by editing the text file via readme.
it tried to...
well done daxter, ogam has been great and probably the most famous mod of BW2... well... ever. you deserve a rest.
ps: i just realised where your profile photo comes from!
youll like this, mcfrosty.
ill do a spanish mod, a french mod, and an italian mod. ill combine them to make the complete european medieval mod (ie. spain, germany, england, france, italy, crusaders.)
edit:
ill do it when i have time. next week is free so ill probably start then.
it shouldnt...
the wolf looks horrible good or bad, and the evil cow makes me laugh, so i'd say my best greature is the evil lion, and my best good creature is the good cow, because its so cute and slow and harmless.
wow, i dont think you have to do all the stuff mentioned in the paragraph.
just go to the control panel (on the search bar or sometimes in my computer.)
double click "add/remove programs" and scroll down to black and white 2. then click "remove", which is located to the right of the balck and...
too right. you cant be neutral, because if you just want to 'get along' with citizens, you have to build all sorts of stuff for them.
and being evil is pointless, if fun. i tried to be evil, but i ended up beign good for the first 30 minutes or so to build up a huge city, then massacre them...
nope, that doesnt work. thanks anyway. :)
the thing is that i cant edit the read only settings. i did a bit of research and it turns out that XP is built so that all files are born read only. the only thing that people say works is if i edit some vital system files, and im not prepared to do...
finally worked out what the problem is - the computer makes it so that every file is "read only". even if i make a new folder its attributes are set to"read only". if i try to un tick the box located on the "properties" window, and select "OK", the box will still be ticked when i open it up...
its not vista, i have XP. i know that vista has those sorts of problems (eg. not being able to overwrite files) but i think that it might be something to do with my computer rather than the editor.
at the moment i have a backup with no objects or anything - it works perfectly, but i cant edit...
well i think ive got to the root of the problem. whenever i overwrite another save, all that gets saved is a weedy little .walk file and another equally small BW landscape file - (the BW landscape file is meant to be around 10MB) nothing else.
now i have to save in a new destination each...
ive fixed the problem, but for some annoying reason, i have to save the file in a new destination evrey time i save it. so autosaves are out of the question. :(
its VERY buggy. i cant build walls otherwise the thing just crashes, and i have to start again - so i have to save it every 5 minutes...
in BW2 my creature had a very small colon, so he could only eat a small amount before he got full. he would create more poo than i could keep track of, and eventually i tied him up in his creature pen.
another time, in the first japanese land, i left him sleeping and built a metropolis around...
i ended up becoming evil in the third japanese land beacuse of some stupid soldiers.
i started off at about 80% good. i spent my time building impressive structures, impressed a few villages, and then took all my men for a huge campaign against the neutral town in the centre of the land. since...
my creature juts stands there when anything is under attack with fireballs, and looks at it intently, waiting for it to burn to the ground. he then walks up to it and casts a water miracle on the ruins.
