The ability to create new towns was an ability that BW2 sorely lacked. I couldn't even manage to create new towns in script without all the complicated scaffolding business, so well done!! I'm sure this feature will allow much more dynamic and varied gameplay than the standard fixed towns ever...
This is awesome; I can't believe how quickly the changes are coming out and how great the ideas are. OGaM seems to be taking all the best features of BW1 and 2 and heaping them together, which sounds fantastic. I'd love to help testing when the time comes - I'll see if I can get my hands on a PC.
This sounds really awesome and user friendly, I've always been impressed with what you've been able to do Dax. I'd love to see it in action!
You know what I always thought was a cool idea? TEACHING a creature miracles as opposed to simply buying them. In my scripting days I gave it a shot, but...
You will need to use a piece of software called MilkShape, but it's very old now, and it wasn't particularly user friendly even in its day. I think you might need to get a plugin (possibly from Kayssplace?) for the model files, but after that just import them into MilkShape :)
It takes up space and is a nuisance :P I suppose it probably keeps your followers happy, but if they're just playing football I suppose it doesn't matter whether they're happy or not.
There's probably a file for it in the Audio folder of the game files - you could try finding it and deleting it, or replacing it with an empty file of the same name. The easiest way though would be to install patch 1.1!
It may have been implemented by a patch, but I think you're just left on the fifth land after that, albeit it is always twilight and the day/night cycle stops. You could always start again and keep your creature - in my opinion, the real challenge of the game is to get the perfect creature...
I remember when you were making this. It's very exciting that you're resurrecting the project! You'll have to wait for Pat to verify your account, but he's on the forum a lot so you won't have to wait long :)
I like land 3 :) I find it's a nice change with the Celts, and there's the pressure to take the three towns to get your creature loose - I thought that gave it an interesting angle. But then, land 2 is awesome as well :)
Those look great! You can definitely see they're less harsh. Would you like me to upload the files as a patch to the Tibetan Mod, or would you like the honour? :)
Ah I think the galleries got a bit messed up a while back, you need a password to access them now or something. Is there any way you can attach an image to this thread or attach some?
