Maybe it has to do with the "graphics detail level".  What do you have it set on?  And does the same problem happen with different resolution settings and/or detail levels?

Can you buy a new flash drive?  Walmart, KMart, Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Office Depot should sell them.  Nowadays flash drives come pretty cheap.  I remember several years ago it cost about $60 for 256mb...

Sometimes taking the game out of compatability mode and just running it as an administrator works.  Right-click the icon and select "Run as Administrator".  I got BW to work on Vista and Windows7 this way.

I tryed both WinAmp and VLC, but I couldn't play any of the files in the SFX folder.  The Dialogue folder works just fine, but that's it.  There appears to be some sort of codex issue with the others.  I'm not quite sure actually...  I was really hoping to find out what's in "Scripts.sad" file.

My tiger thoroughly enjoys walking through any fire he casts.  It's rather annoying, because he's too stupid to learn the water miracle and put the flames out. He usually dies from the burns before he reaches the sea.  But it is funny when he runs around all covered in flames and sets entire...

I vote Rhino as best evil creature in BW1.  Umm, the Zebra and Cow are my favourite good creatures.

Yeah, what FoTD said.  Try looking on Amazon.com when you're not so strapped for cash... They sell BW and BW2 pretty cheap there.  That's where I bought mine!

A few of the .sad files can be played with WindowsMediaPlayer, but only a few.  Like Kays said, WinAmp works better.

The tatoo is just a standard one, but I made the skin myself with Photoshop.  It's in the downloads area.  And yeah, horses are great.  I own 5. :yourock:

Dude, that's a big tiger!  I have a cow and a horse (my sister's actually) that's my pride and joy.  I posted a funny pic of Aurora in the Gallery.  Unfortunately I haven't won my cow back in Level 3...

The Wikipedia page was last updated Dec. 18th, so that's pretty recent stuff.  Looks like good publicity if you ask me!
