You know what else is weird? I can't slap my creature properly. It takes a monumental amount of effort (but mostly luck) to give him a light slap, and I can almost never do it. Most of the time the hand just tickles him, but if I try too hard he just gets a great big smack. There's no in-between.

If that was a simple thing to do, I would try it. But it took me too long to get it working on XP, so... I think I'll just live with the lopsided fireballs for now. xD Arigatou gozaimasu, minna-san.

Thanks for the replies. :] It's a laser mouse, but it's a Logitech G5, so it's not exactly a cheap-o model. :) It's very accurate and I havn't noticed the pointer jumping or acting erraticly at all during my gaming sessions. I highly recommend it, if anyone's in the market for a new mouse. ;)...

Hi everyone. :) It's been many years since I visited a B&W community or played the game itself. But I recently made the decision to try again to get it working on XP, and after a couple of hours trying many different methods, it finally worked. :D Woohoo! Everything seemed to be working fine...
