Black and White Fox Creature Readme
by the Great Dementron, Goddess of All Things Pointless

The base model has only a new skin, so the creature should work normally (clicking, etc.).
The good and evil meshes I changed a little to make them more foxy.

^..^
=\/= Woof!

Installing into Black and White:

1. Place the 3 .l3d files in your "Lionhead Studios Ltd/Black & White/Data/Creaturemesh" folder.
 Do NOT change their names.

2. Decide which creature you want to replace. In my experience, this works with any creature. Remember,
when you replace a creature, it will look, sound and move like a fox, but will have the old creature's stats!
(So, if you replace the tiger, it will still be strong but dumb as a rock. It will also have the old
 creature's footprints.)

3. Back up that creature's cbn file (it's in the Data/Ctr folder). The easiest way to do this is to
type "Backup of" into its name and leave it where it is.

4. Copy bfox.cbn into the Ctr folder. Rename it after the creature it's replacing. (i.e. bwolf.cbn, etc.)

5. Enjoy!

Installing into Creature Isle:
This is trickier, because as far as I know no one can edit the CI .cbn files yet.

1. After putting all 3 .l3d files into the "B&W/Data/Creaturemesh" folder (step one of the previous
intructions), put the good, evil and base wolf l3d files into a backup folder.

2. RENAME the fox .l3d files after the wolf files they are replacing. Be sure to copy the names exactly.

3. The wolf is now a fox. To make another Creature into the fox, go to "B&W/Creature Isle/Data/Ctr".
Back up that creatures'.cbn (the easiest way is to type "Backup of" into its name and leave it where it is),
then copy the wolf.cbn file. Rename the copy after the .cbn of the creature you're replacing.
(Remember-- it will have the old creature's stats!)

The .cbn replacement trick will work with any creatures. If you can, I think it is more effective to use a
creature changer program, but .cbn switching has its advantages. Love the sheep or cow, but hate how weak
they are? Get a stronger Creature (like a lion!) and switch the .cbn's (That is, if you don't mind pawprints).
This is the ONLY way I know of to (artificially) switch creatures in Creature Isle. So, it is probably the
only way (because it has a unique skeleton) of using the chicken as your main Creature (but only in CI-- the
.cbn's in B&W and CI are different versions).
