Using the Installer

The installer is a great way to hare your files with other people. You can either install files instantly by opeing them and clicking the next button to have it backup existing files with the same name in that directory and then install the new one.

Black and White manager also supports .lif extenstions. If you are creating (for example) a map which has a custom Landscape then you can put these together in a lif file. Usually when the user would come to drag them selves through Windows Explorer adding files to directorys all over the place.

With a lif file Black & White Manager knows where these files need to be extracted to and again backups any conflicting files.
